Runcorn Quiz 7 – Do you know our town

Hello again people and pooches. Joe the Cocker here. You seem to be enjoying our pictorial quizzes about our town. The number of people viewing the posts has amazed us and the feedback has been a joy to read. So, thank you from Joe the Cocker and his Cameraman and Personal Assistant. Only one person seems to have identified every item in Quiz 6 and that is Beryl Littler. Well done to Beryl and thank you for the support.

Quiz 7 will, hopefully, test some of you eagle-eyed readers out there. We have used photographs that my human has taken over the past few months, but we have stayed within Runcorn. As usual, the quiz is just for fun and you can message us with your answers or send them from the blog site. You could also, simply jot them down and check against the answers that we will post in a few days time. Good luck!

1 Where were we when we were about to descend these steps?

2 Where can you see this short stretch of road?

3 The building below is obviously not in use anymore but, where can it be seen?

4 This was the entrance to a large house. Where is it?

5 This photograph is of a popular place. Where were we?

6 A rocky outcrop. Where can it be seen?

7 Where can these posts be seen, nowadays?

8 This is can be seen if you are tall enough. But, where is it?

9 Where is this item located?

10 This body of water can be seen where?

Ok everyone, that’s our seventh Runcorn quiz. Hope you enjoy attempting to identify where we were when we took the photographs. No extra points for identifying who is below! Till next time!

  1. Another good quiz but if I am right quite a wide spread of Runcorn I think you were at Halton castle then Heath rd at the out of hours surgery, the Tricorn pub then Beaconsfield house ,then Norton Priory then Runcorn hill maybe from the bandstand ,but not sure about the posts ,I am not tall enough but looks like the brine pool, then Dukesfield old line of locks and maybe the water is Phoenix park
