Hello again people and pooches. Joe the Cocker here with my human. Widnes Quiz 4 was popular again and we enjoyed your feedback and comments. Thank you for taking part. Here are the answers.
1 This old sign is part of the frontage of the Top of the Town nightclub. Sadly, in a derelict condition nowadays.

2 This plaque can be found on a row of houses on Birchfield Road. With a proud owner modelling with his permission last July.

3 This structure is a sewer vent in Mill Brow. It was built c1893 and is Grade II Listed.

4 The cross is on the wall of Trinity Methodist Church on Peelhouse Lane.

5 The close up was of the hanging sign outside of The Premier pub in Albert Road.

6 This light hangs outside of The Imperial pub on Albert Road.

7 The date plaque can be seen in the photograph, yet again on Albert Road.

8 The railings can be found on the perimeter of Widnes Outdoor Market.

9 The colourful display can be seen above the main doors of the Widnes Indoor Market.

10 Widnes Station, formerly Farnworth Station is a Grade II Listed Building.

That’s the end of Joe the Cocker’s fourth pictorial Widnes Quiz. Hope that you don’t find it too hard. There are no points again for identifying me below! So, after that we were Homeward Bound (see what we did there!). Sorry! Till next time!

Great quiz for the Widnesians
Looking forward to the next one
